1951
The world´s first engine driven backpack mistblower
(also on exhibit in the German Museum in Munich) was
developed. The first 100 units achieved a breakthrough
for this revolutionary method of plant protection.
Instead of using stationary engine driven pumps with
long spray hoses and lots of manpower, the new machines
were able to be operated "solo", by only one
person - the birth of our future trademark name. |

1952
A German Press Agency report in leading German
newspapers describes a demonstration of our engine
powered backpack mistblower in the village of
Neuweiler, situated in a wine growing area in southwest
Germany. The machines were described as revolutionary in
the field of plant protection. 1,600 misting machines
were manufactured in shifts around the clock. |

1953
The decision was made to become independent in
production and manufacturing. After a search for a
suitable location, the first two factory buildings,
including a section for office and showroom, take shape
in Maichingen. |

1954
The good reputation of the new mistblowers crosses the
borders and creates a demand abroad. More than 5,000
units are manufactured. More than half are exported. |

1956
After the huge success of the portable mistblowers,
requests were received for a lightweight power
cultivator. First prototypes result in large orders. The
first production model of an engine driven lawnmower is
released to the market. |
